Mahendra Vora, Founder and Executive Chairman of Vora Ventures, was recognized as a Finalist in the Ernst & Young 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Ohio Valley program during a luncheon event held at the Cincinnati downtown Renaissance Hotel on May 18, 2017. The awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Over past 10 years, Vora Ventures has formed multiple successful public-private partnerships, including with the City of Hamilton, City of Blue Ash and the City of Springdale, in acquiring large, unoccupied, commercial business complexes and converting them into world-class technology workplaces such as Vora Technology Park (Hamilton), Vora Innovation Center (Blue Ash) and Vora Solution Center (Springdale). These public/private partnerships have resulted in the creation of thousands of tech jobs in the Greater Cincinnati region.Award winners will be announced at a special gala on June 15 at the Hyatt Regency in Cincinnati, Ohio. Regional winners are eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year national program.
