As the VP of Technology, Chris leads the Ascendum’s engineering, DevOps, data science and QA teams to build scalable, human-centered digital transformation solutions. With more than 15 years in tech and a deep background in enterprise software development, Chris is a driving force behind Ascendum’s innovation and delivery culture.
Chris joined Ascendum as a software architect, where he led the creation of chatbot products and next-gen digital tools. His leadership quickly expanded—first to Director of Software Engineering, where he helped shape the company’s agile processes and engineering talent model, and later to Head of the PMO, giving him a unique 360° view of delivery excellence.
As VP of Technology, Chris oversees the development of internal platforms and client-facing solutions, including AscendIQ: an AI-powered assistant built to help enterprises retrieve knowledge and automate workflows across complex data environments. He’s a strong advocate for design thinking and works closely with UX teams to ensure every solution is intuitive, scalable, and rooted in real user needs.
Chris holds a degree from the University of Dayton and remains active in the tech community, frequently speaking at conferences on digital strategy and IT talent. He’s known for leading with calm, curiosity, and code that scales.
